Philip Anthony Mitchell is the founder and lead pastor of 2819 Church, a lively Christ-centered gathering in Atlanta, GA.
An honors graduate from North Carolina Central University, Pastor Philip also holds a degree in Pastoral and Church Leadership from Valor Christian College. He is a bold leader and passionate communicator deeply dedicated to pastoring 2819, empowering people and spreading the Gospel to as many people as possible.
Pastor Philip is a native of Queens, NY and currently resides in the Atlanta area with his wife, Lena, and their four children.

Since my return from Israel, and the encounter I had with God there in December of 2018, constant brokenness over the state of the American Church has been my portion. The perversion of The Faith in the west and our subtle and overt mockery of God moves me to deep weeping, earnest prayers and an emboldened witness to be an agent of change and an unwavering voice for the veneration of Holy God and the preservation of Biblical Christianity in America.
I would that this message go far and wide. I would that the Body of Christ hear and be stirred. I would that the sinner be called to repentance and the sleeping saint be awakened to mission.
Silently I cry out to God in prayer, and publicly I cry out to those who have ears to hear. And while this cry may be faint in our nation, I cannot and will not be silent, but rather I will cry out all the more…
